Join Our Coalitions Committee

The South Carolina Republican Party Coalition Committee (CC) is dedicated to educating minority conservatives about the ideas and principles of the Republican Party, and to increasing their involvement in the Party.

The Coalition Committee’s goal is to include a greater number of African-Americans and other minorities in the Republican Party and political process, for the purpose of improving social-economic conditions in all communities through the implementation of conservative policies.

To that end, the SCGOP Coalition Committee will work toward the following goals:

1. To make known the principles of the Republican Party among minorities in the State of South Carolina.

2. To encourage members to become more active in their local Republican Party apparatus, and to encourage members to pursue leadership roles at all levels including precinct, county and state leadership.

3. To provide a statewide networking infrastructure that would allow minority conservatives to discover one another more easily and stimulate the development of grassroots networks of activists across the state.

4. To develop political skills and leadership abilities among minorities as preparation for future service to the Party and the community,

5. To provide forums for minority conservatives to exchange ideas on political solutions for addressing the concerns of the minority electorate.

6. To raise money on the local and state levels to aid in the activities of the SCGOP Coalition Committee and the support of Republican candidates.

7. To foster stronger relationships between minority conservatives and the South Carolina Republican Party.
