Faith and Family

Religious freedom is an intrinsic party of our democracy. The ability to worship how you wish, discuss religion where you wish and generally exercise your personal religious freedoms is inseparable from American life. The Party stands up to defend your ability to worship how you like, including in school. It was the Judeo-Christian values of the Founders that led to our nation being placed on the best foundation possible.

We have to look to those principles still, today. A family is what the rest of society is built on. But, the assault on the traditional family is coming from all sides. That isn’t going to stop us for standing up and saying that marriage is between one man and one woman. We oppose same-sex marriage and civil unions.

Above all, the right to life is sacred, from the womb to the elderly. We deeply support legislation that protects the unborn, as well as preventing euthanasia of our oldest citizens.
